TRANSLATION

We offer translation services (English to French and French to English) for websites, novels, activity reports, master’s theses and doctoral dissertations, advertising copy, social media content, résumés/CVs, and more.

Révision AM was founded in 2018 by Alexandre Michaud, who holds a Master’s degree in French-language literatures from Université de Montréal and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Modern Languages (Russian and English profiles).
Why create a company specializing in proofreading and language revision?
Self-employed for several years as a language editor and having worked in various companies as a writer and editor, Alexandre observed over time a growing demand in the market for language-revision services. Passionate about the French language and determined to offer top-quality service, he decided to start his own company to serve a clientele of university students, immigrants, businesses and writers.

A writer-traveler, in love with worlds and words, Catherine Anne Laranjo has been working as a language professional for over eight years. After a certificate in Creative Writing and a Bachelor’s degree in Literary Studies, she went on to complete a Master’s degree in Creative Writing at Université du Québec à Montréal. Her work focuses on travel writing, practices of presence in the world, and the potential of encounters. Here and elsewhere, she continues her exploration of languages, which for her are ways of building windows and bridges within us and between us. In addition to French, she speaks and writes English, Portuguese, and Italian, and therefore edits, writes, and translates to or from one of these languages into another.

Élise Provencher est une insatiable curieuse qui passe une bonne partie de ses temps libres à laisser vagabonder son esprit à travers les pages d’un livre. Elle aime d’amour les mots, la grammaire et la syntaxe.

Élise détient un baccalauréat en éducation et une majeure en littératures de langue française de l’Université de Montréal. Après une carrière en enseignement au primaire et au secondaire, elle fait un virage à 180 degrés et décide de rejoindre l’équipe de révision AM en tant qu’adjointe et réviseure/traductrice (anglais vers le français).
